Wytron CD-298 : CD Duplicator Controller (1 to 7)

What Does it do ?
The Wytron™ CD-298 is a highly reliable, professional CD-R/CD-RW duplication controller unit which is capable of controlling up to seven writers simultaneously.

The controller unit is the 'heart' of a stand-alone CD duplicator system that once built, is a pleasure to use.  With only two simple push buttons and a remarkably easy-to-use menu system, the duplicator can be used by almost anyone within minutes. 

The Wytron CD-298 unit works in harmony with you and your environment. Our Auto-Start Technology maximises the number of copies you can make in a given time by automatically starting duplication when the required amount of blanks have been inserted.  Our User-Alert Technology notifies you audibly and visually when the copying cycle has finished, thereby leaving you free to do other things and hence maximising your productivity.

What else do I need  to build a working duplicator system?
To build a working duplicator system you will require a few additional pieces of equipment :-

• A reader unit                        - CD-ROM or hard drive (or both)
• At least one CD writer        - Max. of 7 CD writers
• A case to accommodate the above.

A CD-ROM is unlikely to able to read data fast enough to support continuous "on-the-fly" writing at 48x or above.  To achieve
max. writing speeds with writers capable of 48x or above, users will need to install a hard drive as a buffer.  If no hard drive is
installed, the duplicator will work at a lower writing speed than the max. speed that the writer is capable of.

Our customers report the following drives also work. As yet we have not tested their compatibility,
so please verify this information before making any purchasing decision.
